Mohamed Ethabet graduated from the University of Plymouth in England with a bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance in 2019 and worked at Barclays' headquarters as an Account Receivable Manager until 2020. In 2020, he obtained a master's degree in International Relations & Democratic Politics with merit from the University of Westminster in London, with a dissertation title; does foreign intervention in Libya one of the primary causes of the civil war that has erupted post the 2011 revolution? under the supervision of Dr. Maria Holt.

Mohamed also worked as an intern at the Centre for the Study of Democracy during his MA. In addition, he is a former Research Fellow at the University of Westminster. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Middle East Politics at the Institute of Arab and Islamic Studies (IAIS), with Professor Jonathan Githens-Mazer and Dr. Mustafa Baig supervising his research.

In addition, he studied ACCA finished 7 exams out of 13. 

Mohamed is currently employed as a Postgraduate Teaching Assistant (PTA) at the University of Exeter and as a resident analyst in a couple of London-based private think tanks, where his responsibilities include drafting weekly reports on the political and economical situation in Libya and North Africa and supporting UN peace roadmaps in the region.
