My name is Tamara Al Khalili. I am a visionary leader and a dedicated teacher with 10 years of experience in the educational field in Lebanon and the Arab Gulf area. I started my career as an elementary teacher, then I became an upper education administrator and currently I am a lecturer at several universities in lebanon.

I have BA in English Language and Literature, Teaching Diploma and Masters in Education double emphasis TESOL and Educational Management from the Lebanese American University. I am interested and actively involved in all areas of education including curriculum development, professional communities, teacher mentoring, student career preparation, and technology. I have a strong passion for educating, motivating and inspiring students, while creating a fun and challenging learning environment. I consider myself a self-driven leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who enjoys effectively collaborating with students, colleagues and parents.

As a PhD student at the University of Exeter, I have conducted several research studies related to English as a medium of instruction, writing approaches followed in EFL classes, blended learning in EFL courses and school and language policies. All of these topics belong to very interesting areas of study and are directly related to education which is my passion.
