I am an applied psychologist who undertakes improvement and implementation science research in mental health settings. My research spans several topics and these are underpinned by two core tenets:
1. Using participatory approaches to research which promote meaningful engagement and translates insights into actionable changes.
2. Promoting person-centred recovery-oriented practices to meet individuals where they are in their recovery journey and empower them to take an active role when this is possible.
I work closely with various mental health clinical teams and experts by experience to maximise opportunities to improve patient and staff outcomes, and improve service provision.
