Research Centre/Unit: Centre for Research in Professional Learning
I recently completed a PhD with the Graduate School of Education, in the College of Social Sciences and International Studies and am part of the Centre for Research in Professional Learning.
I have worked in schools and further education as a teaching assistant and enabler, and have previously studied psychology and philosophy.
My PhD research looked at the topic of interprofessional workplace learning and support; in particular, how first-year trainee doctors and newly-qualified teachers learn and obtain support from the others in the workplace.
I am currently working as a research associate with the College of Medicine & Health, leading a project to understand the barriers and enablers to implementing prescribing educational interventions in clinical practice.
