Project Summary

Having just completed the pre-thesis stage of the EdD TESOL, my thesis is in early stages. However, here is a brief outline of the main focus. The proposed study aims to investigate how L2 English speaker teachers relate 'international' encounters and experiences of TESOL to their own teaching contexts. I wish to investigate how such encounters and experiences shape the professional identities of individuals, and examine influencing factors which underpin dilemmas and issues that L2 English speaker teachers may face.
