I passed the upgrade from MPhil to PhD in June 2017 and my thesis is titled: 'The Perception and Management of Extreme Emotions in Thirteenth-Century Iberia'.

 

My project is funded by the Exeter-Brown Studentship in Medieval History.

2013-2015:

I received a Distinction for my Masters degree and my dissertation was titled: 'The Man behind the Crown: The Role of Personality in Shaping the Rulership of James I of Aragon'

2010-2013:

BA (Hons) History with proficiency in Spanish

 

I completed my degree with a First Class and Dean's Commendation. Prior to that I also received the Greg Edwards Scholarship in History for the single honours student with the best marks achieved in second year in June 2012 and the Bertie Black Prize in History for Outstanding Academic Achievement in June 2013.

 

As part of my History degree I studied two years of Spanish modules equating to level C1 (Proficient User) of the Common European Framework Reference for Languages. 

 

My undergraduate dissertation was titled: 'Latin Christendom’s Approach to Muslim Conversion in the Age of the Fifth Crusade: Ideal and Reality c.1200-1230'
